Headed the Scout drive for funds and helped with the Boy Scout swimming pool project with labor, material, and money. Redecorated teh meeting room of the boy and Girl Scouts and furnished work tables for their use. Worked with the school principle in cudcting an essay contest on "What can I do for my community". Provided food and clothing costing $200 to needy families. Aided a blind student in entering college.

Conducted the Boy Scout drive for funds. Helped a family which lost everything by fire, funishing food, furniture and clothing. Gave food, clothing and toys to underprivileged children at Christmas. Gave a speical party to the colored children of the community. Carried on for the seon year the National Kids Day program. held the annual Street Fair to finance the community service.

Organized and supervised the Kiwnais Little League Baseball team furnishing uniforms and equpiment. Distributed 494 Easter candy packages to 8 different institutions. Raised $700 at an annual Street Fair on National Kids Day.

Formed a Key Club in Mount Airy HS. Entertained 2 Key Club members at each regular meeting.

Sponsored the annual contest on citizenship. Transported a palsy victoim to and from the cerebal palsy school in Frederick. Paid for eye examinations, funished clothing, bed clothing, shoues and galoshes for 8 families and 19 children at Christmas time. Gave a Christmas party to 50 colored children.

Sponsored dental work and treatment for a 9 year old boy. Furnished transportation for cerebral palsy child to Frederick, MD. Distribtued 125 boxes of candy and oranges to colored children at local school.
