The club aided the County Library financially in making its facilities more readily available through the county. In conjunction with other civic organizations, postwar plans were made for a sewage system for Ellicott City. Many times the club was forced to meet without programs; however, mention should be made of those on: Rationing, Citizenship, The War in the Pacific, and the United States at War.
