Captial District Kiwanis History

January 1923, 4 Zones were created to collect clubs within a District to cover Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. In 1926, Zones were changed to Divisions.

October 2005 Divisions were grouped by Regions.

October 2013 Realignment of District Divisions goes into effect reducing the number to 16. Division 1 is the only division that retained the original number, all other divisions changed!
