E-Builder Oct 2005: On Thursday, September 29, 2005, the Peninsula at Oyster Point Club held its second Charter Night. Guest speaker was Bob Powers, Past Governor of the Capital District. Also attending was Catherine Elder, PhD, 2004-05 Division 13 LG and the 2005-06 Division 13 LG Dorothy Murray.

After an outstanding presentation by Bob Powers, inducted two new members for the club Nancy Huggard sponsored by Suzi Edwards who is the immediate past president of the club, and Lois Darling sponsored by Sandra (Sandi) Moomaw who is the 2004-05 president of the club.

The club presented 6 Legion of Honor Awards Lloyd Julian, Jr (Club President), Ernie Bretana (3 times Club President), and Robert Coker (PLG) with 30 years of service; Roy Powell (PLG) with 40 years; and Jerry Fisher and Lou Cowling both Charter members of the Peninsula Club and 45 years of service.

Bob Powers installed the 2005-06 officers with Barry Layman, President; Sandy Sammons, President Elect; Fred Johnson, Vice President; Larry Roesen, Treasurer; and Suzi Suzi Edwards, Secretary.
