Sponsored a Boy Scout Troop and raised $250 for the Del Mar VA Council. Invited one member of the Troop to lunch each week until the whole Troop has been enteretained by the club. Sent the Boy Scouts to camp. Brought 15 NY Tribune Fresh Air Children to the country for the month of July. Sponsored a Halloween parade for school children. Sponsored Wishing Wells. Proceeds was used to set up signs reading "Attend Our Churches". Spent $200 to buy toys for the needy at Chistmas.

Spent $350 for improving plying fields and playgrounds and raised $1,000 to organize and equip the first school football team in the community since 1924. Organized a Key Club in the High School. Staged a musical show netting $300. Equipped 4 families with necessities. Sponsored the annual Cancer Drive raising $440. Organized a community wide Easter Sunrise Service at a cost of $100.

Bought extra instruments for the HS Band. Helped the band enter the annual Chicken Festival Parade. Sponsored a party for teenagers, Entertained 1 member of the Key Club at each meeting and send Key Club delegates to the National Convention. Sponsored a monthly toy drive for toys to be given to needy children at Chistmas. Financed hospitalization for 4 persons. Took entire care of the expenses of a 11 year old boy and worked for a town park.

Sponsored Boy Scout Troop and Scout Master and donated $150 to the District Council. Sponsored 2 football teams in our school, one senior and one junior team. Had 2 programs presented by our Key Club and sent 4 delegates to the Interantional Key Club convention. Entertained the Boy Scouts at a regular Kiwanis meeting. Sponsored a bathing beach project by meeting with State and County officials and having them build a new road and the promise of a new bridge to the bathing beach. Held a meeting with railroad officials and had them repair and remodel our local passenger station. Purchased and held option on $20,000 site until purchased by County School Board. Sponsored 4 "Go to Church" campaigns. Adopted 1 orphan boy and kept him in school by supplying clothing and physical needs. Purchased several pair of eye glasses for children. Hospitalized a Key Club boy and infant premature baby. Purchased hot lunches for 9 children. Bought and donated gifts of food, clothing and toys. Replaced burned roof on a widow's home. supplied clothing to anogther burned out family. Fuel for a sick man with family and food to a deserted wife with several small children. Participated in all fund drives.

Visited 9 clubs with 65 members. Hosted 11 clubs with 50 members. Distributed information on agriculture to teh schools. Continued to sponsor Key Club, Boy Scout Troop, and starting other Key clubs in the area. Outfitted 12 underprivileged children with clothing to the sum of $56 and provided 9 children with hot lunches.

Assisted Key Club in constructing 2 tennis courts and advised them in presenting a fashon show for financial aid. Organized Boy Scout Troop 312. Donated $50 to send 1 boy to Boys State. Sponsored an Old Timers Ball Game and participated in same.

Was successful in having additonal buoy markers and navigation lights placed in local waterways. Secured approval of bridge plans. Entered a Kiwanis float in a parade. Received approval of tenetative plans for construction of waterway.

Supplied milk to 7 underprivileged children. Several children were clothed properly to attend school and church. Raised $200 from a Fashon Show to help the committee in this work. Raised $921 with a black face minstrel and $218 from the sale of buttons on National Kids Day.

Held 3 100% meetings during the year. Visits to 9 clubs, and 2 visits from other clubs. Inducted 12 new members. Induced teh State Agency to plant oyster shells for propagation of shell fish. Stressed planitng of shrubbery during clean-up drive. Raised $1900 for lighting hte ball park. Donated 340 quarts of milk to under privileged child work. Provided clothing to needy families.
